Featuring: Matthew Silver
DV cam: Peter Silberstein

Marissa was visiting her Aunt, so I was inspired to create my own outline, of course I went overboard with the amount of sound effects and things to do while interacting with the locals. It took me four hours to create it. But I learned my lesson, simplify, less is more.
Here is my outline and prop list:
It was very cold this day, my friend Peter did the camera work, but was having trouble filming because he kept getting frost bite, our friend Molly was there to document it for her blog (check it out):

Countdown Robotic Spaceman
I start off with a Countdown, people gather, people take movies with their digital camera, two lovely ladies dance with me. I display my sign, lets happy wacky dance the message is sent. If I’m making people happy I’m happy. Smiles is what I work for.
Mr. Rogers Sends People to the Future
I play with my toy truck and bump into to the friendly waiter Phillip, who offers me something to drink. This kind of gives the show a Mr. Rogers feel, I love it. Please, anybody and everyone join the show, become a friendly fool, I work for love. I politely reject the drink, and continue my mission to send people into the future.
30 Seconds into the Future
I convince someone to go thirty seconds into the future. What does it behold? Me marching with a trail of dolls to Bring in DA Funk. Check out my secret move the WORM!
Recharge at the ATM
I recharge at the ATM only to be barked at by a dog. Being fully recharged I go off and battle. People run from me, but my duty is not finished. People start dancing, because it’s addictive. At the end one person just stares at me blankly as I try to convince him 30 seconds into the future is worth it.
Long Haired Hippy John and Space Aliens
Meet my friend long haired Hippy John, he tells me how to use the Alien Detector. A kid comes by and wants to play, so we give him the alien detector, but his mother takes him away, watch his unhappy face. “I want to kill aliens he says”
A show for the people waiting for the Bus
I always end my shows at Salvation Army on the other side of the bus stop. So you get a great audience of people waiting for the bus. Watch them as they are amazed at my chicken moves.
After the performance, I went online and found the most liberating notes from Marissa. She uncovered the core of what this all means:
Dear Matt,
We strive relentlessly to:
Recognize our own absurdities and laugh at ourselves.Entertain and engage others by our exposition.
It was fresh bolt of light, I’m a fool, you’re a fool, everybody is a fool, Bedford Ave. is a Parade of Fools. We came up with the first title version:
The Bedford Avenue Circus of Fools.
And she wrote openly and honestly:
To expose the absurdities of the world I feel I expose some truth of humanity.

This being said, I knew I had to develop something here, if I was certain that I was going to be doing this for the next 10-30 years, I’ve been taught that the world will always be unknown, but you do have certain magical powers, each and every single one of us. You have the opportunity to create your very own special path.
