One character that kept reoccurring was the Lost Bunny or Love Bunny. He would hop around, play with people, act wacky and hop the full five miles of the Bushwick, Brooklyn to Williamsburg, Brooklyn route.
Right at Ad Hoc on Bogart St. near the Morgan stop at the L train someone put up a Lost Bunny poster on a community board. It read, “Lost bunny if found please return” and it had a picture of me, smiling with my bunny hat on. Eventually I took that sign and posted it on my entire route.
Thanks to Laurie Mittlemann I now have a picture of the Sign:

El Crazy Bunny:
This clip is not taken by me. Someone saw me on their vacation and put it up. They told me to hop and away I went. Hop away they all say.
Laurie Mittlemann and Tim Farnum joined me in one of the five mile performance rituals. They did half of the path. They dressed up as odd circus fools. This was a great adventure, because they went all out, we were loud wacky, jumping around playing with children at the park. We were even stopped by a policeman who got a call that there were insane people on the street. These are the photos that were taken that day.
Tim and Laurie are on the right. That’s me on the left. This was at Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Here are the rest of the photos:

This is at the Ad Hoc, soon to be a famous art gallery, where the Morgan Stop is on the L train. My lopsided heart and my American Flag, ready to put on the Good American Fight
